The thing this "you don't understand media literacy, nuance, critical thinking" A24 sucking crowd doesn't understand is that they are literally describing themselves. The problem with the movie isn't "you can't criticize Chris Hansen or you support pedophiles". The problem is they went out of their way to make him seem like a bad father and person. So much of the movie is factually untrue. Pretty much everyone in the film hunting the criminals is portrayed in a nasty light. You'd be an idiot not to at the very least question that and then wonder.....why?
