Barrister Abba Hikima and I have decided to return to court over the N-Power funds that the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Nentawe, said were about to be paid since July. We will go back to court at the end of this month when the court resumes from recess to continue the case.

We had given them a grace period after they apologized, but now our patience has run out because we have not heard from them despite the promises they made.

The bone of contention in Tinubu’s tax reform bill is not the contentious clause in the bill, but deep public mistrust of the administration.

A Hausa proverb says, “He who is bitten by a snake stops trusting a rope”. The removal of subsidy and floating of exchange rate have caused unimaginable pains to Nigerians, such that they no longer trust the government.

What is now needed is to make policies that will improve public confidence in the administration. Let Nigerians start seeing the benefits of subsidy removal and naira floating before introducing the tax reform.

The rate at which people are dying in Maiduguri due to Kidney problems is alarming.

@USCDCNIGERIA please there is need for intense studies amongst the residents of Maiduguri, our water sources and any other contributing factors that makes this issue rampant. Please consider.

People have been dying due to Kidney problems. Recently, 3 people from one family (mother and two daughters) died from it and the father is left devastated.

Many are still diagnosed with it. It's alarming and too much please.
