Not me wanting to cry…
Both Arjun and Akshaye’s roles were so powerful, I love them both. They really did an amazing job and I can’t imagine the insane unfiltered and discomfort they felt acting every second of it.
…I’m glad they did the scene even if it was difficult
It’s a coup! For the first time ever, Variety India unites the icons of Indian cinema: Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar & Salman Khan under one roof. A new conversation begins. #VarietyIndia#VarietyIndiaIsHere

Arijit Singh is someone I literally grew up listening to from so many films. Im really sad to hear hes stepping away from playback singing, esp since he gave us over 500 memorable songs in that space alone. Still, Im glad he’ll still pursue music, even if its no longer for movies
The second is the rose symbolism. Emraan wears red roses, which mean pride but love. You never see him without one until he loses and removes it. For Yami she talks about planting blue roses in the beginning, ironically, they don’t exist, similar to her dreams in that moment.
Meine kabhi nahi socha ki main Haq film dekhungi… but after seeing massive acclaim I did, and I liked it so much… Yami made me so emotional, while for Emraan I felt angry but sad. It’s clear what they deeply wanted…
Two small details I liked
First, every time Emraan faces Yami, even while giving talaq, he asks about their kids, with a smile. He deeply cares about them but when it shifts to Yami he becomes serious. It’s tragic that he went to court out of ego despite his love for his children
I didn’t give my thoughts on taskaree…but it reminded me of To Catch a Smuggler…full on drama baazi thi. Emraan looked extremely dashing in the uniform too, nazar nahi hat rahi unse….
@emraanhashmi Sir, you were really amazing 🥹 I ended up binging the show in one go! (The uniform suits you!) I’m glad it reached number 1 on Global, esp for Indias first!
