Q2. One challenge can be knowing which strategy to teach or just focusing on ONE at a time. Using formative assessments, conferring notes, and reading records can guide teaching decisions on grouping and strategy. Responsive teaching guides the teaching MOVES. #LitTorchChat
Strategy groups provide a space to work with a group of readers at different instructional levels while explicitly teaching a strategy to scaffold or advance their skill as a reader. It’s a time to teach the reader, not the text. #LitTorchChat
