It's not mine, even if we all think about it, it's from the Rubaïyat of Omar Khayyam. A beautiful book I read today, who inspired the music album Rubaïyat of Dorothy Ashby, that I've loved for years. What was yesterday can inspire today. Or it was maybe the same moment from 2 angles.
Tribes survive by locking every member's angle into the same fixed crease, so any tilt feels like betrayal. The moment you deliberately tilt toward someone from another groove, without trying to pull them into yours, you create the first strand of a braid. Most won't meet you there. The ones who do become the new tribe, one that can't be held by a single crease because its shape is built from ongoing friction between different vectors.
@dfgreat1@justalexoki I've tried m'y first corp job after 15 years freelancing, I don't trust anyone because of this, like, guys, are you all a bit slow, or we are all just pretending because no one can see our screens?
