@SteveRoutl74122 Thanks Steve. I had had an hour at Winter's before Killingholme. There were quite a few on field next to parking area and to tide was lined with them so must have been a big number in total.

21/7/24 Killingholme Have Pits a very large number (c500)of mainly summer plumage black-tailed godwit. One was colour ringed but only the right leg seen clearly and it was yellow, red, yellow. A glimpse of the left leg revealed a yellow ring but no others could be seen.

Lovely to see signs of spring in Scartho Woodland Burial Ground yesterday. 5 singing chiffchaff and 2 small tortoiseshells as well as this buff-tailed bumble bee enjoying the pollen. @LincsWildlife @LincsNaturalist @Lincsbirding @NaturesCalendar

Walked around my local Scartho Patch yesterday. I heard 3 singing chiffchaff and I was pleased to hear 6 skylark singing on Gooseman's Field. Butterfies were: brimstone (1) small tortoiseshell (1) and peacock (5). @NaturesCalendar @Lincsbirding @LincsWildlife @LincsNaturalist

Waders on the Humber Bank off Novartis Ings on 19th Feb. A very large flock of golden plover near to the Dock wall. Any info on the colour ringed godwit in top right of shot? Not a good image sadly. @Lincsbirding @LincsNaturalist @LincsWildlife @BTO_Lincs
