@velaryonsfic Imagine having to create an entire world from scratch and pour your heart and soul in it just for someone to come on here and say that fiction should be free. I think they believe writing to be this easy art that anyone can do. Be for real twilight is not educating the masses.
@PopBase Garbage decisions! no offense to bieber or to any other singer performing in the halftime show, but it’s disrespectful to have all these mega stars share a 15 minute performance.
@iamrisbek@kewchiy That’s what I keep saying, I find it disrespectful that they’re having her share the stage with an entire population when she is the person with a long standing history in the World Cup.
@LotrAddicted@AuthorGFAllen Because it sells that’s why. Modern fantasy lost a bit of its value, if you go to the fantasy section and compare titles it’s almost the same book in different formats and different character names. Even the prose is a disaster.
@NirrimsLiar I saw a crazy person say with their whole chest that writers don’t have the right to earn money from their books and don’t have the right to write if it’s not accessible to everyone. Like wtf is this degeneracy ?
@LotrAddicted@AuthorGFAllen Don’t waste your time it’s garbage, It reads like a wattpad story. And it’s filled to the brim with clichés and corny tropes. I like YA but this one in particular was flat out corny.
@rebelredpocket That’s my take as well, if it’s the top 10% of the publishing industry go ahead and pirate that book. But if they’re a small/indie author I wait until i can afford to buy their book.
@hckeysmvt@bookslattes Honestly, paperbacks shouldn’t cost more than 10 dollars. A hardcover or a special edition I understand, but a $30+ paperback? that’s theft.
@sparkssflytv When I pirate a book I call it a free trial. If I like it trust and believe that i will be buying that book, but if I hate it i dnf and move on, can’t get mad over a free pdf.
@valssreading That’s why I keep buying classics. They’re cheaper with top notch quality. Imagine wack-ass fifty shades costs 30 dollars while Jane Austen costs 5. The blasphemy!
