@taiwoyedele Because NNPC has monopolistic power in the retail sector of the petrol it has been charging Nigerians exhobitant profit to the extent that its profit margin could be used to discount petro price as campaign gift to the president as part of the company"s contribution.
@FinMinNigeria If NNPC reduces its profit margin to support FG discount plaver then it means NNPC profit margin is explorative and the price could since be lower than what it was. The monopolistic nature of the company should be dismantled. The Government has been supporting exploitation.
@MoRich967350633@aonanuga1956 I don't mind if he spent 20 years as president but the fact is that if it is found that he forged or lied about the cert, the evidence could be used against him.
But the president did not defer removal of subsidy because of inflation nor did he say he will ensure that refinaries are overhauled to bring down the price of fuels which I more than 50% responsible skyrocketing prices in the country.
What sticks to my ears in President Tinubu's independence speech is : N25k temporary wage award for average low grade worker. The award is to run for six months only in order not execerbate inflation in the country.
@MSIngawa if it is true, it implies that the Company has certain cost advantage over other producers. perhaps, economy of scale and inputs supply advantages. it may also be a price war aimed at disintegrating and pushing competitors out of the industry.
The Constitution and laws are what the Judges say they are. Even those who crafted the Constitution and laws have to rely on the judges' interpretations. This is dumb.
@ArewaaConnect But you shall recall that recently the president and NSA were all from the North. So being all the North isn't a necessary and sufficient condition for solving the security challenge in the North. What we is the people of integrity, commitment and determination.
@fkeyamo@officialABAT Uhh Keyamo there you go? You could have impressed us more if you have told us about the infractions of your former principal. How he removed Chief Justice without due process and how he kept Service Chiefs beyond their statutory service years in disregard of laws and convention.
@shehu_mahdi If the statement is true, Bubari might have thought he was empowering indegent Nigeria. The old man would regret now that he was toothless build dog that can neither back nor bite. He was deluded. What remains to be known is for how long Emefele had been releasing the N500B.
