Arteta and Arsenal players still haven’t know what they have done by winning the league this season. People still haven’t clocked it well.

First, it stop years of banter, Arsenal fans were so easy to banter majority haven’t watched their team win a trophy, the ones that did it’s easier to remind them face book didn’t even exist when they did.

Then the players, there’s limit to conversation you can put Saka, Gabriel, Saliba, even Rice. You just have to ask what have they won? That question changes everything in football debates. It changes how rivals talk about you, how pundits analyze you, even how neutral fans remember you.

For the last few years it was so easy to spam “2nd place FC,” bottle jokes, nearly-men jokes, pressure jokes. I mean they did a banner to bant Arteta last time out. Now just imagine they really bottled this year? Would have been generational honestly, It would’ve followed this squad forever.
They really stopped a lot of disrespect winning this year. But they survived the pressure. That’s the biggest thing.

People underestimate how mentally difficult it is to carry the weight of previous failures into another title race. Every dropped point starts feeling like history repeating itself. Every away game becomes psychological. Every rival fan is waiting for the collapse, We saw it this season with that Man City Fan.

This title didn’t just give Arsenal trophies. It gave them legitimacy.
Now Saka is no longer “talented but trophyless.” Saliba is no longer “good but unproven.” Rice now has a league title attached to his name at the highest level. Arteta himself completely changed the narrative around his project. Before this season there were still people calling Arsenal “beautiful failures.” You can’t say that anymore once the medals arrive.

The rest of the league should be scared, This team is still young. Winning the first one is usually the hardest because you’re fighting history, pressure, doubt, and narratives all at once. Once a group gets over that mental barrier, they start playing with a different aura. You saw it with Manchester City years ago. The first title changes how a squad sees itself.
Arsenal finally stopped looking like a team trying to arrive.
Now they look like a team that belongs there.
