@withkynam@stulogy My guy @withkynam π«‘
@stulogy I was like a blob at my computer for years so I made an app to help change that. 0 time commitment needed.
@northstardoll I feeeeel you. You gotta move your body more to regulate the brain. Not like workout. Just micro dose movement: get up for a minute and bounce around, then go back to the sitting
@ADHDForReal does doing certain stuff rather than do nothing help? For me, anxiety builds up like crazy no matter what I'm doing, but then doing mini-movement breaks regulates the hell outta my mental
I've been feeling like shit lately.
Then I found out what sitting for hours on end does.
β Dopamine: less novelty, movement, and sensory input β blunted motivation and reward signaling.
β Cortisol (this is a bad one π¬):
chronic low-level stress signal from inactivity and poor breathing patterns.
β Norepinephrine: lower baseline alertness and energy.
β Blood flow to brain: limits oxygen and glucose delivery β fogginess, fatigue, slower thinking.
@RyeMcKenzie Nice. I'll try these out. Thanks Ryan
I came up with my own fix for ADD over the years, too:
Micro-dosing movement.
Helps reset body and mind at will. Instant gratification. Strong effect & long term health + posture fixing.
Testing my app to help you do it right now!
