Five great signs of intelligence:
• You're not afraid or ashamed to find errors in your understanding of things.
• You take mistakes as lessons.
• You don't get offended with accepting the facts.
• You are highly adaptable and very curious.
• You know what you don't know.
Sadly, a new trend has made things worse: teachers give points, rank kids on leaderboards, & award prizes.
They call it “gamification,” but it’s really “pointsification.”
This hurts flow b/c it focuses on status & rewards instead of the task at hand.

To go into flow, you need a few things:
1. Clear goals
2. Unambiguous feedback
3. A "Goldilocks” challenge—not too easy, not too hard
Most importantly, you can’t go into flow if you’re doing it for money or attention.
You need an activity that you find intrinsically rewarding.
Being wrong is not a bad thing like they teach you in school. It is an opportunity to learn something.
There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error.🧠
Many think of entrepreneurship as a constant effort to figure out what "works" and what doesn't. That's mistaken. It is not a technology or solution to a problem. It is about value creation, and value is in the minds of consumers. What works at one time does not work at another.
The problem is not people being uneducated.
The problem is that people are educated just enough to believe what they have been taught, and not educated enough to question anything from what they have been taught. 🧠
It's not enough to pull your kids from public schools, we have to tie taxpayer funding to individual kids, not schools.
Public schools are now effectively forcing you to buy a product you didn't want but are paying for anyways.
Life is meant to be lived on a much smaller scaler than people have come to believe.
Everybody thinks being a good human being is about making a giant impact or something. Yet… if people aimed to be the heroes in their own day to day lives — that would be enough.
Why is Failure important? 🧠
