Today, a federal court delivered a major blow to the USCIS pause, ruling against the policies that froze immigration benefits and subjected applicants to nationality based treatment.
The Dorcas case was never just about paperwork. It was about whether USCIS can place thousands of legal immigrants into indefinite limbo without individualized decisions.
The court’s message was clear: immigration adjudications must follow the law, not blanket policies.
Now comes the next test. Will the government respect the ruling and resume processing cases, or seek to keep thousands of students, researchers, engineers, doctors, and families trapped in uncertainty while appeals continue?
For more than six months, people have lost jobs, income, opportunities, and peace of mind. Today’s decision is a significant victory, but the fight is not over until cases are moving again.

As an Arsenal fan, I supported Bayern against Chelsea, Barcelona against Manchester United (twice), and Real Madrid against Liverpool.
In fact, I never backed an English side to win the UCL against a non-English opponent—unless Arsenal were involved. Call it karma, but that’s me.
I didn’t expect English teams to feel any pity for Arsenal after Saturday’s loss- fairs.
I have no issues with the banter from rival clubs because I’ve done it—and I’d do it again and again.
It was a profound honour to join fellow party members at the special affirmation ceremony of His Excellency, Peter Obi, as the Presidential Candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 general elections.
I am particularly humbled and deeply honoured by my ratification as the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the NDC, Senator Seriake Dickson, and all other leaders for this bold and visionary decision. It clearly reflects the NDC’s unwavering commitment to national unity, democratic consolidation, and purposeful leadership as we prepare for the 2027 elections. - RMK

I’ve started seeing Manchester United fans, especially the Mark Goldbridge minions, saying we should have signed Andoni Iraola instead of Liverpool, as if Michael Carrick isn’t miles better than him.
These are the same people who wanted the club to sign Baleba and sell Bruno Fernandes last season.
Honestly, if I wasn’t a United fan, I’d probably be one of their biggest haters because our fanbase are so ungrateful, imagine the disrespect after everything Carrick has done for us.
I REJECT THE CONCOCTED RESULTS OF THE ADC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES
Following reports of widespread voter disenfranchisement in most parts of the country during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Primaries yesterday, I unequivocally reject the concocted results being announced.
I had initially stated that I will only accept the outcome of the Primaries if the process was free, fair, and transparent, and I stand by my word. I will not accept results from a process that does not reflect the values that the ADC had pledged to uphold, to rescue Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement that our country is currently facing in the hands of the ruling party.
There’s no way that about eighty percent of members of the party were not allowed to vote, and you expect me to accept such results. Then what makes us different from the others? The whole idea of the ADC was to give the Nigerian people a platform, to amplify the voices of the downtrodden, and make Nigeria a better place for everyone irrespective of backgrounds, ethnicity, or religion.
A party that criticizes the ruling APC and INEC for vote buying, rigging and writing of results, cannot be engaged in vote buying, writing of results, and other electoral malpractices that leads to the disenfranchisement of voters who are party members. This is not acceptable!
