@RodForter@PeteAbe@GlobeLars He was not on the roster in the “we need more tv money” round. Got hurt throwing long toss with clubhouse leader Drake LaRouche
@jmart That, and while not a fan of burning old glory, if they do it quietly it will be superior to my current Trump loving neighbors who leaf blow every weekend. I’d rather we all quietly judge each other with quiet being the main focus
@daveweigel Understand the larger point but leaf blowers are a suburban menace and a middle class experience/torture. Be glad you live in the non-leaf blower utopia that James Fallows helped create in DC and allow for all negative leaf blower analogies
@zackmagliaro@StJohnsPrepFB You must be happy there is another 77 captain, need to draw up some tackle eligible plays for Saint to support the fraternity
@NH_SmallTown @growingwisdom Neighbors yard is not huge, they have several able body teens/adults, I have small children and same if not larger lawn, I mow it once every two weeks, rake/push broom patio/driveway, leave leafs on non-grass, annoy no one, it’s easy
@growingwisdom Also, there is a thing called a rake which annoys no one, has zero emissions and provides a work out. Sadly they have banned them in Andover but they do provide the same function as gas powered and electric leaf blowers
@growingwisdom The landscapers are annoying but the constant weekend warriors are the worst (I have neighbors who use them every weekend). They should be banned if we are being generous allow companies to use them in the spring and fall on weekdays. Keep the summer and weekends quiet and clean
