Apple is introducing a new "iPhone Handoff" feature in iOS 27.

The feature lets you use one phone number across two iPhones without physically moving your SIM or eSIM.

• Set one iPhone as your Main device
• A Companion eSIM is created on your second iPhone
• Both iPhones share the same phone number
• Calls and texts are delivered to whichever iPhone you're actively using
• Easily switch between your two iPhones without changing SIMs
• Cellular plan and network settings are managed from the Main iPhone
• Location sharing follows the iPhone currently in use
• Both iPhones must be running iOS 27
• Carrier support is required

This could be one of the most useful iOS 27 features for anyone who carries both a personal and a work iPhone, or keeps a second iPhone as a backup.

If we look at last year beta release date. Tomorrow, Apple might release iOS 27 Beta 7 👀

iOS 27 beta 8 would be the last beta and then Apple will move to iOS 27 RC on September 9th, i guess?! 🥹

Here's what Apple fixed soo far:

• Random Connectivity switching back and forth is fixed (Cannot confirmed yet 🤧)
• Search and Siri optimization was back
• Text Size still not showing up for other Apps in Control Centre until I restart my iPhone
• Siri AI now respond even faster
•Apps switch to light mode when resizing an app in iPhone Mirroring
• When battery is critically low, Apps across the system become slow and laggy
• iPhone now charges fast
• Tinted icons closing animation is still not fixed
• Typing on iPhone is now severely laggy, kinda reminds me of typing a message in Roblox game
• Fixed Cellular connectivity speed
• Low Power Mode is still not lag-free across all devices
• iPhone is faster, more responsive, and way smoother on 120hz
• Shortcuts Automation sometimes fails to trigger
• They still need to better remove Siri AI button from everywhere across the system
• iPhone overheats easily when using it on 100% brightness and screen dims quickly
• I have to precisely click the search field inside the Siri AI App, otherwise it wouldn't start typing
• They made Spotlight Search 10x faster
• Poor Battery life on both my Mac and iPhone
• AirDrop now works flawlessly
• ScreenSaver bug still there on Mac
• Visual lags and glitches are still there, minor ones in LPM and Low Battery
• General bugs fixed
