Output down from £2.88bn to £1.88bn (a staggering drop of £1,000,000,0000 in 10 years)
GDP down 15%
A drop of 30% in use of public transport
A drop of 18% in visits to restaurants, retail and shopping centres
A drop of 20.5% in visits to bars and pubs
( DOUBLE that of Englands)
Similar drop in Employment
A contraction of 21% in the City of Musics live music scene

The scale of the decline is quite staggering and that real meaningful, radical action must be urgently taken, starting with a lifting of the current travel restrictions and road works, if the city is to ever bounce back and visitors are to return.
