someone told me to read new jedi order so im documenting it. i know nothing about njo, ive not consumed anything of star wars aside from the 9 movies, and i hated the 20 minutes of the acolyte that i watched. if these 20 books turn out to be a waste of my time i will kill myself.
not a big luceno fan so i'll be reading these guys in quick succession while im on a work trip this week. hopefully he redeems himself through these.
now reading: agents of chaos
biggest culture shock while engaging with the star wars community here as someone who used to be big on halo is the intense dislike everyone has for troy denning. cant wait to see what thats all about
@zweiwalker89607 i found leia's bits the most interesting and han felt a little diluted in jedi eclipse compared to hero's trial to me. couldnt really connect with the characters much either. but yeah i agree, dark tide was pretty amazing
@emerylonaphra a tried and true starting point for most readers is the original four books which are the fall of reach, the flood, first strike, and ghosts of onyx. i highly recommend the fall of reach
im still kinda shocked at how casually it was mentioned that kyp destroyed an entire planet, killing millions, and yet was still allowed to stay in the order. and then he created his doodoo avengers as an apology? why is he alive?

ngl "exar kun possessed kyp" is starting to sound like "darth vader isnt anakin" in the sense that some star wars fans have a weird tendency to transfer responsibility from bad people for carrying out heinous atrocities. like kyp did that shit man. is this common here?
