“The joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). The Good News Translation renders this verse, “The joy that the Lord gives you will make you strong.” The passage isn’t simply about our joy in God but about the way God imparts His joy to us. https://t.co/LVCZjHx61H
When our circumstances are hard and we’re tempted to let our hearts slip into despair, I pray we will remember this: God is working things out. He is present. His plan is still good and He can still be trusted.
These are true certainties even when life feels so very uncertain.
Even when we don’t understand, we must trust God’s timing is perfect.
Remember, “not yet” doesn’t mean “not ever.”
Keep holding on, friend. God isn’t done with your story.
God sees things we can’t see. He knows things we don’t know. And only He knows what the good plan is & what it will take to get us there.
Let’s fix our eyes on Jesus, choose to believe that God’s plans really are the best plans & remind our hearts we can trust Him at all times.
Sometimes, we just have to walk through stuff even when we desperately just want to quickly get over it.
But the going through is what will get us on the other side with a greater understanding that God has always and will always be with us.
We have no idea what we might face - today, tomorrow, next week, next year. But we can know with certainty we won’t face any of it alone.
“... And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Jesus' last words in the gospel of Matthew. What peace for our hearts.
If you know Jesus as your Lord, the same power that rose Him up from the grave is the same power available to help you in your weakness today. You aren’t going into this day helpless or hopeless.
Believe it. Receive it. Walk in it today.
"He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them—he remains faithful forever." Psalm 146:6
What a gift this truth is. The reminder that God's faithfulness never diminishes. He is now and forever faithful.
It’s okay to feel hurt and confused. But don’t let your feelings lead you away from God or His Truth.
Press into Him when you want to pull away. Ask Him to meet you and speak to you in the pages of His Word. Know that it's better to wrestle with Truth than stay stuck in turmoil.

God’s ways are sometimes opposite of what we want and expect. But we can absolutely trust that His ways are best.
Let’s remember to consider what God’s purposes are and align our expectations and desires around His.
God is the author of the Truth that empowers us. Satan is the author of the deception that imprisons us.
That’s why the enemy is thrilled when we don’t open our Bibles. Truth sheds light on darkness & helps us see clearly what a horrible trap Satan's luring us into.
