FBI leading global scam center take downs- that target our seniors from afar. We will dismantle them all- already Billions in fraud shut down, hundreds arrested, thousands of trafficked workers freed… that’s just one op.
Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.
France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend
“We gave up our yesterdays for your tomorrows.”
98-year-old World War II veteran David Yoho delivered an emotional message at the WWII Memorial in Washington, D.C. as Americans gathered to honor the more than 400,000 U.S. service members who died during the war.
Standing before the crowd in the rain, Yoho urged younger generations to remember the sacrifices made by veterans and to keep telling their stories long after they’re gone.
“Tell them it was a 16-year-old boy in the hearts and mind and body of a 98-year-old veteran of World War II.”

Hazen Fire Update May 5 @ 1:30pm
An aerial flight has mapped the fire at 1049 acres. This increase in acres includes the burned area from yesterday’s firing operations.
Fire activity has increased this afternoon as the fire consumes vegetation within the interior of the fire. This behavior is expected and does not pose a threat to containment lines at this time.

Hazen Fire Morning Update May 5 @ 8:30am
The Hazen Fire is estimated at 992 acres and is now 10% contained. The containment is located in the southwest corner of the fire and will be shown on future maps as a black line along that section of the fire's edge.
Firing operations on the east side of the lakes were successful yesterday. Crews spent much of the day constructing containment line ahead of the fire, then burned vegetation along the line to reinforce it and reduce the chance of further spread. Firefighters on the night shift patrolled this new containment feature and reported no issues.
This morning, APS flew the fire area to assess potential damage. APS crews will also check utility infrastructure from the ground and develop a plan for restoration work in the coming days.
A Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) remains in effect for the fire area. Aircraft remain available today if needed.

Hazen Fire Morning Update for May 4:
980 acres and 0% contained.
A Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) is in effect for the fire area. This restriction applies to all aircraft, including drones, that are not assigned to fire suppression efforts. Any unauthorized aircraft entering the restricted airspace will force fire operations to ground firefighting aircraft, delaying suppression efforts.
The fire remained active overnight and pushed an estimated ½ mile to 1 mile to the north/northeast, moving through the river bottom in dense salt cedar. Fighting fire in salt cedar is challenging because it grows in dense, tangled stands that can limit access for firefighters and equipment. The vegetation can hold heavy amounts of dead branches, leaf litter, and fine fuels, allowing fire to burn hot, move through the canopy, and produce heavy, dark smoke.
Salt cedar can also create spotting issues when embers are carried ahead of the main fire, especially during gusty winds. In these conditions, crews must look for safe areas of opportunity to construct line, use roads or other barriers where available, and support ground operations with aircraft when effective.
Yesterday’s burnout operation along State Route 85 was successful, and the fire continues to hold on the west side. Winds yesterday created spotting challenges on the north/northeast side of the fire, which continued through the night.
Today, crews will look for opportunities to construct additional dozer and handline ahead of the fire. Resources are working to hold the line completed yesterday, including dozer line. Wind gusts up to 30 mph are expected again today.
Additional resources ordered for today include one dozer, a strike team of engines, and a hand crew.
Evacuation orders have not been issued for this fire. Some residents may choose to leave the area on their own based on their personal comfort level. Evacuations are issued by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. If you have not signed up for Maricopa County emergency notifications, you can do so here: https://t.co/EYJwJbwq5K
