In 2021, Bengal roared with the call of ‘NO VOTE TO BJP.’ Today, from the dharna mancha at Dharmatala, a fiercer thunder has risen. ‘BOYCOTT BJP.’ Boycott them SOCIALLY, POLITICALLY, and DEMOCRATICALLY for insulting Bengal’s icons, withholding Bengal’s rightful funds, persecuting Bengal’s people, threatening to control Bengal’s ways of life, and above all, conspiring to delete Bengal’s legitimate voters, the most heinous CRIME AGAINST DEMOCRACY since 1947.
They have already claimed 172 precious lives in their greed and lust for power. And for every drop of blood they have spilled, Bengal will ensure their political existence is erased so thoroughly that they won’t even muster 172 booths in the coming days. These Delhi Zamindars have forgotten that the first Chief Election Commissioner of India was a Bengali. So, these Bangla-Birodhi forces misuse that very constitutional body as a weapon against Bengal and its people.
They will pay dearly. Today’s dharna is the beginning of the end for BJP in Bengal. We will not forget. We will not forgive. We will not rest until every vote-deleting, life-crushing, icon-insulting zamindar is sent packing in an Ulta Rath back to Delhi.
Honoured to connect with former Indian footballer Mehtab Hossain today.
We shared the #UnnayonerPanchali box, the State Report Card & a special letter from Hon'ble CM @MamataOfficial.
We reflected on the last 15 years of development and the winning spirit of Bengal.
Had a wonderful time with iconic defender Shri Subrata Bhattacharya.
Handed over the #UnnayonerPanchali box, State Report Card & CM @MamataOfficial’s letter.
We discussed Bengal’s 15-year journey & his immense contribution to nurturing grassroots talent across the state.
A big & warm welcome to world legendary football icon the great #LionelMessi! He was received in our Kolkata by enthusiastic, adoring crowds & frenzy fans. He is visiting as part of his GOAT Tour India 2025. Unfortunately our own Arjun Awardee greatest footballer from India, MP, TMC #Prasun Banerjee was missing from the event ( I really wonder why?) when Lionel Messi virtually unveiled his 70-foot statue from Salt Lake stadium West Bengal, where other veterans from cricket & cinema were present. In my humble opinion the presence of great Prasun Banerjee would have added to the glitter & charm.
People will get to see pure magic on the field. Joi Bangla! Jai Hind!

Glad to share that West Bengal is steadily progressing in its own resource mobilization efforts, which is evident from the fiscal results compiled at the end of the FY 2024-25.
In GST in 24-25, we have collected Rs. 4808 crore more than the preceding year, which shows 11.43% growth. This is 2% more than the national level (9.44%), and is demonstrative of our increasing internal financial strength.
In registration and stamp duty, the number of deeds registered has increased by 60 thousand, which shows dynamism of our market. The collection in 24-25 has been Rs 1908 crore more than the previous year, which is a growth of 31.05%.
All this shows that we believe in self-reliance and fiscal discipline, and our administration is serious in streamlining the State finances for the welfare of the people of Bengal.
Congratulations to our Finance Department, and everybody indeed for cooperating with us.
Let us move from strength to strength!
Under the visionary leadership of Smt. @MamataOfficial, Bengal isn’t just part of the future of business - it’s LEADING it.
The Bengal Global Business Summit, 2025 is all set to make its mark on the global stage and show the world why #BengalmeansBusiness.
In a society that reveres its mothers and sisters, there is no place for leniency towards those who commit heinous crimes. Hon’ble CM @MamataOfficial has always championed the cause of justice and humanity.
The Aparajita Bill, passed under her leadership, includes provisions for capital punishment in cases of severe atrocities. Despite the Central Gov’s delay in approving the Bill, we remain steadfast in our resolve to protect the dignity and safety of our women.
Let the Aparajita Bill be a beacon of hope and justice, setting a precedent for an India that stands unyielding against brutality.
বিশ্বপিতা তুমি হে প্রভু
আমাদের প্রার্থনা এই শুধু
তোমারি করুণা,
হতে বঞ্চিত না হই কভু।
Christmas is a celebration of hope, love, and togetherness. In this magical season, all differences fade away as we come together to embrace the spirit of unity and brotherhood.
It’s a time to forgive, to give freely, and to remind ourselves that even the smallest acts of kindness can light up someone’s world. As we gather with our loved ones, let us also reach out to those who may feel alone or forgotten. Let the joy of Christmas touch every corner.
Wishing each one of you Merry Christmas!
At a time when the Parliament is observing 75 years of the Indian Constitution, HM @AmitShah showed the audacity of insulting Babasaheb Ambedkar in his Rajya Sabha speech.
Make no mistake, it wasn't a slip of tongue; it was a deliberate, vile attack rooted in @BJP4India’s deep-seated contempt for the Dalit community. This is the true face of a Party that thrives on CASTE SUPREMACY, SOCIAL DIVISION, and HATRED.
We demand an UNCONDITIONAL APOLOGY from Amit Shah on the floor of Parliament. Anything less is unacceptable.
The Centre seeks to REMOVE the SECURITY detail of the Unnao RAPE SURVIVOR at the time when @BJP4India leaders indulge in sexual assault and rape throughout the country.
While molesters & leaders sheltered by the BJP are donned with security, the Centre deliberately pushes a rape survivor towards threat.
Is the Centre playing this dirty game because the main culprit is a BJP MLA?

Bengal shines again!
@UNICEFIndia praises visionary social welfare schemes, brainchilded by Smt. @MamataOfficial, as game-changers for Bengal's social upliftment.
#BengalShowsTheWay by empowering women, transforming lives and setting global standards!
I wrote to Hon’ble PM @narendramodi highlighting the devastation caused by the release of 5 lakh cusecs of water from DVC-controlled dams – a scale hitherto unwitnessed.
This MAN-MADE flood, the worst we have witnessed in the lower Damodar since 2009, has severely impacted over 5 million people in Bengal.
Despite repeated warnings, the Centre has ignored the technical, mechanical and managerial failures plaguing DVC. If this gross negligence continues, Bengal will be forced to sever ties with DVC!
The fiance of an army captain was brutally thrashed, groped, molested and flashed by Police personnel in Odisha's Bharatpur.
Within months of @BJP4India coming to power in the state, law enforcers have turned into lawbreakers.
What kind of Govt. allows its protectors to become predators?

Didi stands with people!
Smt. @MamataOfficial reached out to the flood affected areas to oversee relief work.
GoWB stands to ensure the safety of the people!
Since day one, I have supported the doctors in their concerns regarding safety and security, and I have always maintained that most of their concerns, barring a few, are valid, sensible and justified. As per the SC's directions and the GoWB’s submission before the SC yesterday, most of the measures for improving their safety and security are in progress, including the installation of CCTV cameras and infrastructural developments in Medical Colleges and Hospitals across West Bengal, which are expected to be completed within 14 days. Additionally, the government has honored their demands for transferring certain top officials in the Health Department and Kolkata Police, as confirmed by the HCM the day before in her media address.
As a gesture of goodwill, the doctors should now consider CALLING OFF THE STRIKE AND WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH GoWB to serve the people and expedite the implementation of the task force's initiatives to ensure these changes are promptly executed.
Lastly, it is crucial to hold the CBI accountable and ensure that no perpetrators are spared, with swift punishment handed down at the earliest opportunity. The CBI's record speaks for itself: over the past 10 years, they have not completed a single investigation they have undertaken. JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED.

One tragedy after another – the human cost of doctors abstaining from their duty is mounting.
This time, a man from Haripal, Hooghly, lost his life after being denied the treatment he desperately needed.
We have always acknowledged the concerns behind the protests, but how many more lives must be lost before the medical fraternity rises to the occasion and fulfills its duty?
I am happy to share that Juyel Sarkar, an ace archer and trainee of our Bengal Archery Academy, Jhargram (BAAJ) has been selected in the Indian Junior Recurve Team to represent our country in Asian Youth Archery Championship to be held at Taipei (Chinese Taipei) from 26th September to 4th October.
This is the first time any junior-level archery player from West Bengal has been selected for India Team.
I feel specially proud as it is our government that started BAAJ in Jungle Mahal for the aspiring archers. I hope this is only the beginning, BAAJ will produce many such jewels in the future!
I wish all the best to Juyel and BAAJ!
Given the harrowing statistic of a RAPE EVERY 15 MINUTES, the demand for a COMPREHENSIVE TIME-BOUND ANTI-RAPE LAW is more pressing than ever. BENGAL is leading the charge with its ANTI-RAPE BILL. The Union must now take decisive action - whether by ordinance or BNSS amendment in the upcoming parliament session to ensure that justice is both swift and severe, with TRIALS AND CONVICTIONS concluded in 50 DAYS.
