Seth Rogen says he smokes weed all day, every single day and he wouldn’t be cut out for this world if there was no weed.
“I smoke weed all day, every single day since I was 20 years old and I’ve been very productive in that time”
“I won’t be cut out for this world but weed makes it okay”
“I equate weed to shoes or glasses. Shoes make our lives easier and better. That is exactly how weed is to me”
“Weed makes my journey through life comfortable and palatable, easier to process and manifest things”
This teacher says if you ever wonder why people are leaving the teaching profession in droves, this is one of the main reasons.
She has students that she has written an incident report on every single day. She has contacted the principal and the support staff and the help that was given to her was to email the parents of the students. Basically, no help or support at all.
We have many epidemics in our country but this is one of the biggest that doesn’t get enough attention. We all know our school system is a failure but even more than we know. Students these days have zero consequences. They are passed with straight F’s. They are allowed to be a continuing distraction and disruption in the classrooms and nothing is done about it.
We need to start over. 💯
Why do we allow this this as a school? As a district? As a city? As a state? As a country? It didn’t use to be like this? This is why other countries surpass us in education, there is no discipline in our schools.
Would you want to be a teacher in this day and age at a public school?
Friendly reminder that when you die, the corporation you work for will have your job listed before the funeral. So go home, pet your dog, hug your family, and listen to Jerry Garcia. Invest your energy where it matters.
My kid's school asked me to donate supplies.
Paper. Pencils. Hand sanitizer. Tissues.
I pay property taxes.
My state has a $4 billion surplus.
The federal education budget is $238 billion.
And the teacher is buying pencils out of her own paycheck.
And I'm sending in Ziploc bags.
We fund stadiums for billionaires with public money.
We fund schools with bake sales.
And then blame teachers when test scores drop.
"Will Wade, I wish you didn't come back to college basketball."
@GoodmanHoops spoke about the RJ Luis/LSU news on the Field of 68 pod today.

Come correct with it or not at all. White people didn’t just conquer, they still rule the game.
White Europeans didn’t just conquer—they built the modern world and still dominate its vices.
Look at the data: heaviest per capita drinkers are in Europe—Czechs, Lithuanians, Moldovans, Germans, Irish, Russians clocking 12-15+ liters pure alcohol/year. US Whites outdrink Blacks and Hispanics on average (NHIS, CDC). East Asians have lower tolerance genetically (ALDH2 variant). Africa/ME? Lower overall volumes, cultural/religious brakes.
Hundreds of years of brewing, distilling, toasting through winters, wars, and empires forged cultures where alcohol is ritual, medicine, and sport. Vikings to Bavarians didn’t conquer sober. You can try “out-drinking” them. History and stats say pace yourself.
Hi.
Guys at golf tournaments.
If, umm.
If you could simply shut up.
No, no. No rebuttal.
Just shut up.
You’re not funny.
You’re not cute.
You’re not witty.
You’re an idiot.
We all think so.
We all hate you.
Your wife and kids are embarrassed by you.
So.
Shut up.
See a small jamband tonight. Have a cold pint by yourself before the opener in a mostly empty venue. Watch the opener. Talk to the hippies. Eat some mushrooms. Smoke a joint. Smoke two. Dance wildly. Buy a T-shirt. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the trip.
A Louisiana resident who identified himself as Marshawn delivered a fiery, emotional speech to lawmakers during a state Senate hearing over redistricting Monday, accusing Republicans of trying to “cheat” Black voters out of political power.
