@jefffcarr Have to wonder if this team, and fans to a lesser degree, look back on June 2023 with the idea of that’s who they are, or can be, and the team has drastically underachieved the past couple seasons. The failure to capitalize on the pieces this team has is so disappointing.

@bryce_spalding Can remember everyone saying they needed to do this with McLain back in 2023. I’m definitely pro locking these guys up to these Arb deals, but no need to rush this now. Should be something they look into with him, Chase Burns, etc, over the next few years

@LanceMcAlister He’s the new shiny object for fans to be upset at/about. He will eventually be fired and then the next guy will get promoted into his position and we’ll all be told how much different it will be. Same old same old from Jocketty to Williams to Krall.

@jefffcarr What do you do with this Jeff? He’s under contract for 4 more years and owed 30ish million? How many of these moves can Krall make? Add this onto some of the deals Dick Williams made here, and for this team being “cheap” they sure do seem to waste a lot of money.

heard the talk about OSU vs UC in 🏀 on the podcast. Since 2006, OSU is 5-0 vs UC, including a home & home to start the 2018 and 2019 seasons, 2012 NCAA tournament sweet 16, 2022 Maui In. OSU won vs XU in 2007 NCAA 2nd rd, lost at Cintas in 2021

@ClayTravis While I agree with most of these, isn’t the biggest issue that since these are considered Student-athletes, they have the same rights as other students and can in theory transfer schools whenever they choose? could be wrong but I think that’s why limiting transfers is difficult.

@ClayTravis The NFL will continue to always win the TV ratings vs anything. IMO, go to 8 playoff teams, play the 1st 2 weeks in December to get to the championship game, have that on NYD or around there. Coaching carousel and portal open after that

@ClayTravis Goes back to the bigger issue of college football’s calendar being completely broken. The CFP should be played every Saturday through December with the championship game being on or near New Years Day. The NFL will still have Saturday games, but you have to keep on playing.
