@EveSimmns Most people will not have an adverse reaction to SSRIs but the ones that do can get hit extremely hard. SSRis can cause mania and beyond. I believe people these drugs can be prescribed after careful screening and monitoring, however, they are often prescribed too quickly.

@DrAnnieHickox @wdpsychiatry A lot of people get a false diagnosis of bipolar due to adverse reactions to SSRI. That happened to me! He’s not saying everyone is misdiagnosed but it’s something everyone one should look into.
