New study in Nature Medicine by Chin-Sheng Lin, et al involving nearly 16,000 patients shows AI-ECG alerts reduced 90-day mortality to 3.6% vs 4.3% in controls. High-risk ECG patients received increased levels of intensive care, lowering cardiac death risk (0.2% vs 2.4%).
