So many aspects of #TheBoxPlymouth bring the historic and the contemporary together. @mpc_group1 have been undertaking repairs to St Luke's Church using the traditional building technique of lime rendering. We think the restored building is looking fantastic ⛪

Breathing a bit of new life into the original restoration with our teams undertaking lime render repairs around the externals of St Lukes Church at The Box for Willmott Dixon.

With the original lime render removed, consolidation coat applied to the cob & a new lime putty coat properly applied, our teams have now also completed the remaining boarding and skimming to the interiors of the barn conversions on our project in Spreyton for Jameson Homes.

Despite the weather, we’re making good progress on the rendering of this new build development in Truro for Elliot Design & Build. Work also continues on the interior, with our teams completing boarding and skimming to all 14 plots.

We love the new sample packs for @WetherbyEWI thin coat render systems. Being able to easily show our clients examples of the actual render colours and textures available is a great tool to help them in their decision making.

We are delighted to be commencing works on a former garage site in Dartmouth where we will be undertaking the boarding & skimming along with the rendering to a 5 property development. We look forward to building another strong relationship with our new client, Bay Construction.

So far, that equates to over 8,400 square meters of roof tiles, felt and batten stripped and replaced with additional work rendering chimneys and fitting associated wastewater goods.

The end is in sight for the first tranche of works on this project, where we have carried out full roof replacements to 131 properties on a scheme of a 142 on behalf of a local housing association for our client, AYM Services.

Working closely with the architect at ADS St Ives to get a clear understanding of their vision, we installed an Alsecco 90mm EPS EWI system, finished with a 1.5mm white silicone top coat.
