I-85 Northbound and Southbound at Eastern Blvd is currently shut down due to power lines across the interstate. Power is out in the area, and traffic lights are not operational.
Please avoid the area if possible, expect delays, and drive with caution.

MPD has a zero-tolerance policy for "celebratory gunfire" and will aggressively enforce Montgomery's ordinance targeting the illegal discharge of weapons. Those arrested under the ordinance face a $100 fine and 7 days in jail for the first offense.
