I'm starting to see why so many people struggle with love. More people are attached to their pride and ego than they are to building healthy long-lasting relationships. It doesn't matter who's in front of you if you don't fix whatever is going on inside of you that's causing you to ruin your every chance at real love. Healthy love exists. Honesty is a kindness. Transparency is the answer. Accountability is an act of love. Submission is the only way. Your trauma isn't an excuse. Vulnerability is unavoidable. Uncomfortable conversations are non-negotiable. Someone asking you to communicate better isn't a personal attack. Your toxic behaviours are not who you are. You aren't perfect. Mistakes are normal. Grace and forgiveness are necessary.

📌 We're seeing plenty of footage of the devastation from Hurricane Otis of tourist areas and beachfront properties. But the working class neighborhoods and rural towns around Acapulco is where tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands, have gone days without food, water, electricity, or any kind of acknowledgment or presence from local, state or federal government.

On Friday, people came in to the tourist areas of Acapulco from these towns and neighborhoods blocking roads, holding signs, and protesting for basic supplies.

The government of Mexico said on Thursday that 27 people have died, but widespread reports on social media seem to show that the number of dead and missing is most likely much greater than that--this may turn out to be one of the biggest tragedies in Mexico's history. Yet people don't seem to be aware at the moment.
