Liver cancer is one of the few cancers where medicine already has what it needs. Hepatitis B has a vaccine. Hepatitis C has a cure.

What is missing is the diagnosis. Chronic liver disease runs for years without symptoms.

So we test. 15,008 free rapid tests, five counties.

3/ And it specifies who it is for — at-risk and underserved populations, reached through awareness campaigns and non-invasive diagnostic tools. Infections cause over 7% of all cancer cases in the EU. #EUHealth

5/ That is our work. ROCCAS 4 SVO, with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova: 31,575 people aged 50-74 in vulnerable communities, 25,260 free colorectal screening tests, five counties of southern Romania, through 2029.

The EU aimed to offer breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening to 90% of the eligible population by 2025.

It missed. In places, participation is falling.

Parliament's health committee now calls for urgent action. We run the part that is missing: outreach.

We asked employers in Dolj County, Romania what skills they cannot find. They named 71 positions requiring green economy competences. Then we asked residents: 164 want exactly that training. The supply in between did not exist. So we built it. https://t.co/jvhAsDrMt6

Vocational training rarely reaches rural communities — because people can't reach the training.

So we brought it to them. First entrepreneurship courses under #Interreg project INES, delivered in Daneți, Dolj county. 🇷🇴🇧🇬
