Emerging from semi-Twitter retirement to say that this project is restoring a little of my faith in the Internet and it needs your money to get off the ground. https://t.co/ooBkuxqa9j
Unexpected side effect of Trump’s mugshot being released is that I now have a pretty comprehensive list of which friends:
1. Think fat bodies are disgusting.
2. Think that being fat is worth more derision than trying to overthrow the government.
@ChuckTingle A lot of the tactics I use are essentially trying to interrupt it with some kind of positive stimulus. It could be a smell, a taste, touching something soft/cold/etc.
Try out different things when it’s not an emergency, to see what helps you relax. You want something very easy.
@zillowgonewild Oh no, the tub is where they lost me. Not only is it a cartoonish trap, if you actually do manage to relax into it you’re staring directly at the base of the toilet.
If you’re enjoying Barbenheimer, which could bring in as much as $200 million in ONE WEEKEND, supporting the strike fund for the people who made it will help them in their fight to get paid fairly.
Here’s some info on the funds that could use your help. https://t.co/9silCzbdm7
@sesmith@xoxoLaurenKiley We do this with our kid. We’re not under any illusion that it means we understand how hard farm work is, it’s just one of the only ways that farms are accessible to us in an urban area.
We have a small garden, the variety and sense of scale help explain where food comes from.
@clhubes Fucking rugs. They’re either hundreds (or thousands!) of dollars, OR the colors bleed everywhere the first time someone spills something on them.
Curious to hear what the “queers should just move to places with better laws” crowd has to say about the fact that a mile away from me, in the town that we picked for its legal protections and queer families, someone burned 15+ pride flags. https://t.co/i0m0SorhTZ
This year, my husband and I took our kid to her first Pride parade.
We also did something that I haven’t had to do in 15 years: We prepped by planning escape routes and hiding places. https://t.co/vBD72wKNdZ
This sweet little essay on why poor people are “asylum seekers” but rich men are “explorers” made me tear up by the second paragraph. https://t.co/SesNqsjWG0
