Nothing has made me as superstitious as working with tissue with fluorescent reporters.
I'm literally at the mercy of my tomatoes.
Have mercy on me, my crimson lords 🍅
First time I saw @sjo09 was in my very first canadian conference. Now again, in my last (knocks on all the wood).
Life's funny like that sometimes. #NRD2023
Many moons ago in my high-school classes, I'd often use research I heard about in conferences as examples when they inevitably asked me why they should care about biology or chemistry.
They would've loved to hear all about this accidental pet THC consumption research.

The footprint of a student-organized event is all over #NRD2023. Including new faculty talks so students get a better feel of the kind research done in their institution is an amazing idea.
Now in the back end of my PhD, I have a deeper appreciation for scientific outreach and #scicom.
Anyone who spends a minute on social media can see that better communication is key moving forward. #NRD2023
'No posters in a research day? These guys have lost their mind'
Boy was I wrong. @SONGSuwo nailed it, 3 minute talks are great to get a glimpse of what people are doing and a great lesson for all of us to KEEP THINGS SIMPLE, a soft skill we all could improve on

@taylorwschmitz might've just pulled out my favorite point about amyloid/APP... what the hell is it? We should know by now.
Damn you #NRD2023 for making me think on a Thursday
