I’m appalled and disgusted.

Tonight, the Libertarian candidate called Native Americans “pets,” and the candidate on the Democratic ticket, Alani Bankhead, laughed along.

Both should be ashamed. These comments are degrading and dehumanizing, and they have no place in Montana or anywhere else.

Native Americans deserve respect and dignity, and I will ALWAYS stand with them.

Two years ago the reflecting pool was reflecting, the East Wing existed and was welcoming visitors to the People’s House, and the Kennedy Center was financially stable and artistically thriving. Gasoline was semi-affordable and USAID was saving human lives all over the world.
