One thing I've realized is that, you don't need to vent to your friends about everything that you're going through. Sometimes it's okay to just pray about it and move on. Let it be between you and God.
no shade, but i don't care to be in people's lives anymore. i'm pretty sure y'all noticed how distant i've became. i just don't got time for wishy washy ass behavior anymore & it takes nothing for me to never speak to certain people again
I don’t even know what chapter of my life I’m in anymore. I’m not broken, but I’m not fully healed. I’m not sad, but I’m not truly happy either. I wake up, do what I have to do, laugh at messages, talk to people, and keep going... just enough to look like I’m okay. But deep down, I feel stuck in a life that doesn’t quite feel like mine. Like I’m present, but not really seen. Like I’m watching my own story unfold from a distance, waiting for the moment everything finally makes sense again.
The older I get, the more I realize, the greatest win is becoming someone you no longer need to escape from. Not the money or status. But becoming someone you’re at peace with.Someone who can sit alone and enjoy their own company. Someone who doesn’t need constant noise, distraction, validation to feel okay. A calm mind. A clear conscience. A soft heart. For me, that’s what winning really looks like.
I genuinely want more for myself , I don’t know how to go about the next phase of my life but i am definitely not comfortable here anymore, I want more. God, I want more 🥹
one thing i learned from being sad is you just have to feel it and once you’re done, you just need to go out of the room because life is so much bigger than the room you’ve been living in. trust me, it works.
Some people have a hard time understanding an individual who enjoys their own company because a lot of people attach themselves to just anyone because they don’t want to be alone.
Sometimes a new chapter begins with nothing more than a quiet decision. You can just wake up one day and say “that’s enough of that.” Enough forcing what isn’t working. Enough repeating patterns you’ve outgrown. You don’t need a dramatic ending or everyone’s permission.
