Awesome @AlaskaAir pilot on flight 828 from Lihue says there is handshake between him and passengers to get them there safely, and between the crew and passengers to be kind to one another. My handshake with Alaska is I'll share the good things, too, like the crew on flight 828
Would take that any day over @AlaskaAir these days—what used to be great on-time service and general operational excellence is tanking #fail https://t.co/jHSn4MHo6a
@AlaskaAir Perhaps I should clarify my last post. Cutting the # of flights to bare bones to match the low # of pilots is not a step forward. It's like Home Depot announcing it's closing stores because it doesn't pay its help enough and acting like it's a win for customers
@AlaskaAir In fairness to @AlaskaAir I have to say they called me yesterday. Their plan is to "reduce services" to match the # of flights with the low # of pilots. That's good. All these flights with no pilots wasn't working very well.
@blaircook@AlaskaAir@Delta Sorry, Blair. I don't make any personal plans on days when I have to fly @AlaskaAir now days. And I leave a day early if I have important business commitments
@AlaskaAir Really? Daily? Your one and only response to my call/email was on Oct 20 saying you'll follow up. Your email response time is worse than your flight schedules these days.
@blaircook@AlaskaAir@AlaskaAir could care less, Blair. How many times do we have to have this discussion? Take the train, drive or fly @Delta because "AlaskaAir Doesn't Care"
Complaining on Twitter is never my first choice. But when a dozen or so 75K Frequent Fliers send mail to @AlaskaAir highly unhappy about their increasingly terrible service, and they don't even bother to respond, they'd apparently rather have the discussion in a public forum.
Somehow I missed this tweet from my wife @LauralPorter last week. Having interviewed POTUS, The Dalai Lama, and many others, she is an exceptional journalist...and wife, but too easily impressed by mediocre artists. https://t.co/udMh9lGA4T
