Compare its party political vote recollections historically with the actual results of those elections. Wildly inaccurate.

If they oppose, they become de facto unionists for mathematical purposes with all that means; abstain, the maths becomes suddenly brutally tight in the Assembly...

@DrWHKitchen @squinteratn There's an old interview with a former Tory whip that is from another era, but quite open, and indeed explicit, in how the whips would and could both protect and exploit an 'unfortunate' colleague with a 'weakness for young boys', for example.

They want their own way.

Slightly hilarious in that Lowry is guilty of exactly the same flipflopping on PoC issue, having previously long supported the 'majority rule, it at least supermajority rule' espoused by Jim Alistair until it became mathematically inconvenient.

But he's also right, this time.

It isn't. It arguably gets off light. And NI certainly does. And most of those who do come are white Christian.
