We're pleased to share that Somali referee Omar Artan will officiate the highly anticipated match between PSG and Aston Villa in Salzburg.
Infantino was asked by a BBC journalist if he's embarrassed by what has come to pass and does he accept he's lost control of his tournament here.
His response: “in 2035, the Women’s World Cup, I think, will be in the UK. Would you find it normal that FIFA will dictate to the British government who to let in the country and who not to let in?”
#FIFAWorldCup
This year's World Cup Spirit has already been dampened. Instead of talking about the players ( Ronaldo, Messi, Yamal... and the like) we are talking about politically motivated bans, embarrassing security checks, visa denials and the unsold 180,000 plus tickets. For the last 80 years (or so), the World Cup season has been all about football. Both men and women forget everything and focus on nothing else but football. This year football has become politics. At this rate, 2026 World Cup will be remembered as the least unifying tournament ever. The only event that brings the Whole World together has been stained.

@newto_code_14 Everyone commenting here and saying that this is true, was probably in kindergarten then.
Life was harder when Kibaki reigned, but we the young people of those days worked harder with optimism of a brighter future because there was a renewed sense of economic growth and industry.
