@nonestlex I think you are also overlooking the massive stranglehold that the unions have on the market.
The unions made it so ridiculously expensive to have ANYTHING manufactured in Australia that is unable to be cost effective.
CFMEU have a hold on the construction industry at this point
@Silver_Watchdog I am keeping an eye on 'Battery' technology, who ever develops a sustainable new energy storage system will be king.
My money hovers around this. Received offers to be involved in a couple & so far some look interesting, but sustainability & capacity are the issues presently
@gregorymckenna@dailystoic I would go further to say that we make sure the focus is in the right direction
Best thing that ever happened to me was my forced break away... appreciation of the pure simple joy of life. One shot mate that is all we have.
@TMFScottP Further, bloody enjoy the game! This is the best job, enjoy it, make the most of it, feel privileged to be looking on the inside as most go about their day oblivious.
Take time out and relax, play golf, ride a bike, fish, walk, just do something, spend time with loved ones Enjoy
I was able to leverage off it to buy property, I was able to leverage off it to secure deals, and I have kept buying it. Now I also trade it.. BIG difference in strategy. At 47 I have bought physical Gold every year since then
The S&P is the same, buy into the market and hold.
Many charts thus the same, It depends on the approach Most on this forum are #traders & look short term, at best they look to a week
Investors are happy to sit & wait, would not even look at a weekly chart let alone a daily. Months & years, that is what James is talking about.
#Gold similar, I remember as an apprentice, 16yrs of age, my boss said to me "buy Gold, keep buying Gold, stuff the cars and girls, buy gold" so I did, I had no idea that it went down in price, and when I was 26 I bought lots more, I have kept buying it
Isn't the #aussie having a nice day in the sun..
#AUDUSD#AUDCAD#AUDCHF#AUDJPY#AUDNZD
The Kangaroo and #Kiwi though are nearing long term levels (well 2014 if you call that long term), could be interesting to watch the play for the little digger downunder. No position yet
Oh and the trades are sitting pretty... might cut the shiny stuff though, a little dip to the 1785 mark could be in play and banking here is not too shabby
@TTCSteve So further, the best way to take over anything is to convince the masses that you are on their side, then erode what is established and convince them that the new is the better, Just look to the past for examples of that.. Gold standard is one such example and any political field
#BTC below 11 and I am looking to #buy & #trade again at 9
#FX#Trader
Cant deny its an investment, speculative, but still an investment
Its definitely not going away and it wont be long before the #banks work out a way to accept it and take a cut
