While #Toronto may not get the "worst" of this winter storm, it is still high impact on a large population. The risk of power outages is widespread especially outside of the city over higher elevations on the escarpment and areas near the lakes Friday night.
Wet roads/sidewalks tomorrow AM for the west GTHA. Tuesday afternoon, wet snow on grassy surfaces to the north, rain south. Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, 3-6 cm of slushy, wet snow for the north GTA away from the lake, locally near 8+ cm. Rain lakeside = slushy mess.
Good morning, it’s Monday March 28th and we’re tied with 1982 for the coldest temperature on record for this date. Should break it any minute now… Oh and it feels like -18 out there. Bundle up!
15cm storm total brings Toronto #YYZ up to 122.6cm on the winter 2021-22 season. We are now above what we normally get in an entire winter (108.5cm). More snow likely next week. #ONStorm
