I am documenting some very important #CAB_FactsVsDistortion in this thread. Please do not fall prey to the barrage of misinformation coming at you from different quarters. Let plain and simple facts guide us. #CAB_SIMPLIFIED
A terrifying update has emerged regarding the Mumbai poisoning plot. Interrogations by the Byculla police, ATS, and Intelligence Bureau reveal that the arrested suspect, Fayyaz Premji, meticulously prepared for this operation by spending over 15 days in a Dongri guest house.
During his stay, he ordered 50 kg of Zinc Phosphide, a highly lethal rat poison, alongside 30,000 empty capsules, manually filling each one with a gram of the toxic chemical.
To execute the mass poisoning, Premji utilised a network of people, including a burqa-clad woman, to hand out the toxic capsules to participants during the Muharram procession.
The scheme fell apart when multiple victims took the capsules thinking they were standard painkillers to soothe physical strain, only to experience severe nausea and fainting spells. Their immediate medical emergency raised the alarm, allowing authorities to track Premji to his guest house where 14,900 filled capsules were successfully seized.
Central agencies are currently digging deeper into Premji's history, noting his previous employment in Iraq and Iran. He is reportedly giving highly evasive answers to investigators attempting to establish his exact motives and any potential terror links.
I was fourteen, walking home from school in Paris with my French-American friend. Summer was around the corner and the heat was relentless.
‘You must be used to this heat,’ she said.
‘Not really,’ I replied. ‘We lived in the hills in India before we came to Paris.’
‘Hills? I didn’t know India had hills.’
‘We have the Himalayas,” I had replied. ‘The highest mountains in the world.’
She stopped dead.
‘You’ve got to be kidding! The highest mountains are in America.’
That expression of absolute certainty is etched into my memory even today.
Twenty years later, when I met her again in New York, I reminded her of that conversation. We couldn’t stop ourselves from laughing.
So anyway that afternoon we went home, and I opened my Philips Atlas and showed her the Himalayas.
‘You know,’ she said thoughtfully, ‘ I’d always wondered about that weird name. I just assumed it was some Native American name.’
A few weeks later, in geography class, while studying the Alps, our teacher announced they were the highest mountains in the world.
My newly enlightened friend proudly corrected her.
‘Actually, the Himalayas are.’
The teacher shot me a look that instantly identified the culprit behind this inconvenient fact.
Then, without missing a beat, she recovered.
‘Yes… but the Himalayas are the newest highest mountains. The Alps were the oldest highest mountains.’
Case closed.
At fourteen, I learnt one of life’s great lessons: The West doesn’t just write history, geography, science. It often decides it.
If something is ancient, extraordinary or foundational, somehow it must have originated in Europe or at the very least be explained through a European lens.
The Rig Veda became “Aryan.” A Middle Eastern Jew named Jesus acquired blond hair and blue eyes.
Even Panini, at one point, seemed to belong to everyone except India.
Now, apparently, Panini is Pakistani.
Progress, I suppose.
From ‘ that’s impossible’ to ‘it was ours all along.’
The script changes. The narrator doesn’t.

I CANNOT BELIEVE WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS.
The Strait of Hormuz shut for four months. A fifth of the world's oil trade gone.
India imports 90% of its crude. Half of it, and nearly all our cooking gas, normally moves through that exact strait.
So how much did fuel go up here? Look at the numbers and look at everyone else.
PETROL price rise during the crisis:
Myanmar +89.7% • Malaysia +56.3% • Philippines +52% • Pakistan +50% • USA +44.5% • UK +19.2% • Germany +13.7%
🇮🇳 India: +7%
DIESEL price rise:
UAE +85% • Malaysia +72% • Thailand +69% • Canada +40% • USA +40% • France +30% • Germany +30%
🇮🇳 India: +8%
The world's largest oil producer, the United States, saw petrol jump 44%. India 90% import-dependent held it to 7.
That wasn't luck. It was a decision, and someone paid for it.
A cooking gas cylinder cost over ₹1,600 to import at the peak. You paid ₹942. Ujjwala families paid ₹642. The state absorbed every rupee of that gap.
The full bill the government and oil companies swallowed so you wouldn't feel it:
• Excise revenue given up on petrol & diesel: ~₹1.7 lakh crore
• LPG compensation to oil companies: ₹30,000 crore
• Daily under-recovery: ~₹650 crore, peaking near ₹1,000 crore A DAY
• Total OMC loss this quarter: ₹1–1.2 lakh crore
That's the real story. Not that there was no crisis it was the worst oil shock since the 1970s. The story is that India chose to take the hit at the top so it never reached 140 crore people at the bottom.
No rationing. No school closures. No queues. No panic.
Name one other country this size that came through cleaner. You can't.
So the next time a viral thread says this government has done nothing show them these numbers.

33 international honours. A testament to India's growing global stature.
With Slovakia conferring its highest civilian award, the Order of the White Double Cross (First Class), Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji adds another chapter to India's rising global influence.
These honours are not merely personal recognitions, they reflect the world's growing respect for India's leadership, diplomacy, and vision for a stronger, more connected future.
A Banaras connect in Bratislava!
At the Presidential Palace in Bratislava yesterday, President Pellegrini and I viewed a fascinating exhibition centred on Varanasi, including works by Slovak artists who had recently visited the city. Art and culture truly have a unique ability to bring people closer.
My compliments to all those whose works featured in this exhibition.

CNBC is now warning global investors not to invest in India because Cockroach Party can bring regime change like Bangladesh, Nepal and there is a "good chance Modi government will fall"
CNBC was same organisation which spread the fake news of Government taxing foreign travel which PM himself fact checked
The team of Lucnica Ensemble sang Vande Mataram during the welcome in Bratislava.
This comes at a time when we are marking 150 years of Vande Mataram and recalling its glorious contribution to India’s history and freedom struggle.
India has overtaken England and joined the top five manufacturing countries list in the world.
By 2029, India will be the third-largest manufacturing country
Abhijit Sarkar’s murder cannot be buried.
Abhijit Sarkar was not just killed. He was hunted. He was chased. He was murdered in front of his mother. And they even killed his dogs and puppies. And sexually assaulted his old mother.
Swapan Samaddar, the TMC councillor and one of the prime accused in the 2021 killing of Abhijit, has finally been arrested in West Bengal.
And yet, for years, his brother Biswajit fought relentlessly while an entire political ecosystem tried to bury the truth under power, fear and silence.
We petitioned the Supreme Court where we have names every accoused.
This arrest is not closure.
It is the beginning.
Bengal does not need selective memory.
There must be justice for:
Every murder.
Every rape allegation.
Every displaced family.
Every burnt home.
Every silenced witness.
Every cadre-protected accused.
Abhijit Sarkar’s last words in this video must haunt Bengal’s conscience.
Because his case was not an exception.
It is a window into what political terror looked like under the Trinamool Congress when the state government of Mamata Banerjee looked away.
So, Prime Video made a series inspired by Ranga and Billa the infamous killers and kidnappers called Raakh. In this series the chief investigator played by Ali Fazal is shown as a Dalit whose father is a retired hawaldar who faced caste discrimination. Ali Fazal's character keeps photos of Ambedkar and Phule in his house. His main assistant officer is a Muslim but the lazy hawaldar is a Brahmin and the honest journalist is a Muslim woman.
But in the real life case the chief investigator was VP Gupta his assistant was Ram Chander and the Police Commissioner was JN Chaturvedi.
I have nothing against showing caste oppression through cinema but my problem is with propaganda. Prime Video India is a serial offender in this regard..they often make such series and completely twist real life characters. I have no issue with Dalit or Muslim police officers but why show an unnecessary oppression angle when it's not required especially in a series based on true events?
On the left is Nikhil Ravishankar. He went to school in New Zealand, worked all his life in NZ. Yet in 2025 when he was appointed CEO of Air New Zealand, the wave of online racism directed at him became such a tsunami that the country's 3 leading media outlets, the New Zealand Herald, 1News and Radio New Zealand, had to shut down their comments section. The sheer volume of racist comments made it impossible for moderators to do their job. It was like half the population of New Zealand had decided to be racist on Ravishankar.
On the right is Air India’s current CEO - New Zealander Campbell Wilson whose appointment in 2022 attracted no such backlash in India. Wilson hails from Christchurch, arguably the most racist city in New Zealand.
🚨 Important Information
Cybercrime victims will no longer need to visit multiple offices or banks to recover their frozen funds.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (I4C) has officially launched the new "Money Restoration Module" (MRM) under the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP). Citizens can now file their refund requests directly from the comfort of their homes.
*🔹 Key Eligibility & Legal Guidelines:*
*1️⃣ This portal (MRM) is strictly for victims who registered their complaint immediately via the 1930 Helpline or the NCRP portal and possess a 14-digit Registered Acknowledgement Number.*
*2️⃣ This module applies ONLY to cases where the defrauded money has been successfully 'Held' (Frozen) in the scammer's bank account.*
*⚠️ Important Note: This portal cannot process refunds if the criminals have already withdrawn or siphoned off the cash from the bank accounts.*
*⚖️ Categorized Rules for Fund Refund:*
*To ensure total transparency, the refund process is divided into three distinct legal categories based on the frozen amount:*
*Category 1 (Up to ₹50,000 frozen in a single bank account): If the held amount is up to ₹50,000 in one bank account, NO FIR or Court Order is required. The money will be refunded directly based on the Police Report/Indemnity Bond via the MRM portal.*
*Category 2 (Total amount exceeds ₹50,000, but is less than ₹50,000 per individual bank account): If the total frozen amount is more than ₹50,000 but distributed across different bank accounts (and does not exceed ₹50,000 in any single bank account), NO FIR or Court Order is required. A swift refund will be processed based on the police report.*
*Category 3 (More than ₹50,000 frozen in a single bank account): If the held amount exceeds ₹50,000 in a single bank account, lodging an FIR (First Information Report) is mandatory under the rules. Once the FIR is registered, the entire remaining legal refund process will be completed through this MRM portal.*
*💻 Online Application Process (5 Simple Steps):*
🔹 Step 1: Visit the official portal: https://t.co/IJKnDU3QrH
*🔹 Step 2: Click on 'Citizen Login' and log in using the mobile number registered in your original NCRP complaint via OTP.*
*🔹 Step 3: Go to 'Raise Refund Request', enter your 14-digit Complaint ID, and verify it with the OTP. The frozen amount will automatically display on the screen.*
*🔹 Step 4: Upload your PAN Card and enter the Bank Account Number and IFSC Code of the bank account where you wish to receive the refund.*
*🔹 Step 5: Tick the declaration checkbox and click Submit. Save the Unique Request ID (MR2026...) generated to track your application status.*
*👮 Legal Action by Police:*
*After the victim submits the request, the designated police team will upload the required Indemnity Bond/Notice on the portal as per the legal provisions of Section 106(3) BNSS.
Following this, the concerned bank will restore the funds directly to the victim's bank account.
*📢 : If you face any technical difficulties while generating the request, a step-by-step 'User Manual Guide' is available for download on the official link.
*👉 Beware of Middlemen: This entire process is 100% free, secure, and transparent. Never pay money to any unauthorized individual promising a refund.*
*👉 Help Desk Support: If you encounter any persistent errors while filling out the online form, visit your nearest police station or the district Cyber Cell for free assistance.*
