MprooV athlete, Blaine Hovenier, enjoys his first taste of Major League Pickleball.
⠀
Armed with one of the biggest serves in the game, the 6’4” Hovenier, who signed with the PPA in April, just made his MLP debut in Grand Rapids, Michigan, subbing in for an injured Thomas Wilson of the Los Angeles Mad Drops.
His extreme size, combined with his intense positive energy, makes him a tough out for any opponent. We look forward to seeing Blaine’s rise in pro pickleball, including at the MLP Salt Lake City tournament this week!
Marcos Giron just clinched his first ATP title at the Hall of Fame Open in Newport, firing 13 aces and saving a championship point to defeat Alex Michelsen. Huge congrats to Marcos for this achievement!
In an article published just yesterday, 7-time world snooker champion, Ronnie O’Sullivan, made the claim that Novak Djokovic is “the greatest sportsperson ever,” comparing him to Michael Jordan.
“Not bad for a YouTuber,” has become Karue Sell’s signature phrase across social media.
The creator of MyTennisHQ’s YouTube Channel and interactive tennis school on the MprooV App enjoyed arguably the best week of his resurgent career last week, fittingly, in his home country of Brazil.
