First cadaver lab of 2026! Our paramedics were able to practice high acuity, low frequency procedures such as cricothyrotomy and finger thoracostomy. This tactile training is invaluable to our providers, giving them valuable real-life practice in a controlled environment.

This weekend, Paramedics LaCourse & Sosa were reassigned from Kerr Co to Hillsboro to support local resources as part of a @TDEM All Hazards Strike Team. They were tasked with supporting local 911 providers with increased call volume due to Winter Storm Fern. πβοΈ

Today we are deeply honored and humbled to assist our brothers & sisters at Rosenberg Fire Department and Northeast Fort Bend County Fire Department in bringing fallen FF Tyler Macha home to Rosenberg. FF Macha passed away yesterday evening after a courageous battle with cancer.
Medic 616 will transport FF Macha from the Texas Medical Center to Compean Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Numerous public safety agencies will form a wall of honor along US-90A between 1:00 and 3:00PM.
