REPORT: PlayStation is claimed to be considering delaying their digital-only future because XBOX is willing to go physical next generation🚀
✅Microsoft is allegedly telling publishers its next console, Project Helix will be entirely physical and will allow users to convert physical games into digital copies.
✅Sony reportedly realized that forcing a digital-only approach leaves a massive opening for competitors to capitalize on consumer demand for physical games.
✅A major unnamed game publisher (confirmed not to be Rockstar) reportedly threatened to skip PlayStation and release their massive upcoming title only on XBOX and Nintendo if Sony couldn't guarantee a physical release.

If they expect folk to continue following restrictions when our own Prime Minister will not even wear a face mask in hospitals or public transport.
Many of us are working endlessly to keep the NHS safe while trying to keep a roof over our heads.
Mini Rant over.
@ExpSevDavis Watch them delay the final phase once England catches up to Scotland in case levels. it seems like we are a few weeks ahead with the Delta variant this time round.
Seeing lots of unhelpful panic over today’s numbers. Obviously caution needed but most important marker is whether link between cases and moderate to severe disease being broken. This is a different wave than previous ones. We are in new territory.
Most important thing to take from early study on vaccine effectiveness against B.1617.2 - 1st dose protection against symptomatic infection reduced but largely recovers after 2nd dose.
Going for 2nd dose is critical. Please don’t ignore it. 🙏🏻

@timspector@Join_ZOE Do you see this variant potentially leading to localised lockdowns?
Seeing as (so far) it does not seem to be leading to more folk getting hospitalised.
And evidence is starting to show that it does not seem to affect most who had at a least one jab.
@timspector Thank you so much for this man.
The media is unnecessarily anxiety provoking.
People need to listen to scientists far more than the likes of BBC News.
I think it will slowly fade. For the next year or so there will always be something to worry about (helped by the media!) . We all need to learn how to deal with the endemic disease and the risk of some uncertainty about life and its inherrent risks.
