little update: i just left SF ๐บ๐ธ
i came here to make tech ๐๐ข๐ again. for a long time, i believed that meant a media company (@siliconmania)
so i built it alongside other talented people, pushed it forward, brought great people around it and turned it into something valuable.
today, i believe "make tech ๐๐ข๐ again" means something different. something that isn't in SF, but instead, all around the world.
this new chapter starts in Hollywood, the land of entertainment โจ
that's my home over the next few weeks. itโs my first time ever here, and iโm so excited!
the last few months have been so insane in SF: i arrived as this random (yellow) guy with one dream, some ambition, and enough balls to chase it. SF took it, embraced it, challenged it, felt in love with it, and funded it.
a wise man with a great haircut once said: "move to SF, it will change your life." - it's so true.
thank you all for all the love and kindness i've been getting over the last few weeks. SF is a very special place full of humble, optimistic and passionate people. i'll miss you all, and i'll miss all those API billboards <3
if anyone is in LA, hit me up ๐ค
Guys Guys Guysโฆ. Just had the surreal experience of meeting @einsteinofwallst (Peter Tuchman). 41 years on the NYSE floor. Thatโs longer than Iโve been alive. Itโs wild meeting people whoโve dedicated their entire careers to mastering one thing. Made me think about what I want to be known for. #respect #legend #wallstreet #nyse #nyc
A few thoughts on my mind today. Since Iโm a data person, I wanted to write something tailored to my work style to celebrate America's 250th birthday.
Here is the USA, strictly by the numbers:
250 Years Old: Today marks two and a half centuries since 1776, making the US the oldest continuous modern democracy in the world.
Zero Successful Coups: The nation has seen 250 years of continuous constitutional transfers of power. (Confession: I originally thought the US had zero instances of Martial Law, too. Turns out it has been declared locally during major crises like the Civil War and WWII! You learn something new every day).
The Heavyweight Economy: The largest economy in the world. To put it in perspective, California's GDP alone is larger than the entire economies of powerhouses like Japan and India.
Unmatched in the Super Bowl: Undefeated. 60 straight wins. The rest of the world isn't even trying, honestly. lol :D
Market Dominance: Depending on the day the market opens, 8 of the Top 10 largest companies in the world by market cap are based in the United States.
The Ultimate Customer: The US is the number one importer globally, buying goods from over 200 countries and territories. Basically, almost every nation is its business partner.
Military: Consistently ranked number one on the Global Firepower index.
Pop Culture Capital: Home to the most celebrities in the world. This includes the incredibly talented ones, and the ones who are famous purely for... well, nobody actually knows why they're famous (wink wink).
Anyhow, thanks for reading all the way to this point. I have not lived in many countries, but I can confidently say that the United States is the greatest Nation on earth.
Happy 250th Birthday, America! ๐บ๐ธ

America: 250 Years of Dreams | A Cinematic Tribute to the United States (1776โ2026). As the United States celebrates 250 years of Independence, this video is my personal tribute to the nation that has inspired generations with its courage, resilience, innovation, and hope.
Through iconic speeches and unforgettable moments in American history, this video tells a story: not of political parties, but of people. From Franklin D. Roosevelt's call to overcome fear to Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream of equality, from John F. Kennedy's challenge to reach the Moon to Neil Armstrong's historic landing, these moments remind us of what Americans can accomplish when united by purpose.
I have not lived in many countries, but I can confidently say that the United States is the greatest Nation on earth.
Whether you identify as Republican, Democrat, Independent, or none of the above, I hope this video serves as a reminder that we are stronger TOGETHER than divided by LABELS.
Happy Independence Day, and Happy Fourth of July in advance!
God bless America. ๐บ๐ธ

Today we're launching Goose Ads in Claude.
This is a skill /goose-ads that lets anyone make high-performing ad creatives directly in Claude, Claude Code, Cowork, or Codex.
Here's how it works:
1. Install the skill: npx gooseworks install --all
2. Run this prompt:
/goose-ads create ads for my brand <brand-website>
3. (Optional) Pick templates you like on the platform
The skill finds top-performing ads that companies are already spending $ on and generates creatives for your brand.
It also ensures that generated creatives are accurate to your brand's messaging, logo, assets, etc.
It's that easy.
But this is just the start.
We have created a library with 100+ open-source skills for growth that some of the fastest growing startups in the world are using every day to run ads, content, competitor research, gtm, seo and more.
Comment Goose and I'll DM you the full open-source skill library.
@LunaBitar@Meta@AdtechGod, if you're listening, this feels like a mission of public service. ๐ She wants to build the Ads Manager that agencies and advertisers dream about, not the one they need a certification to navigate.

I shot this video at Facebook (now Meta) HQ back in 2019.
One of the most interesting details was on the back.
When Facebook moved into its Menlo Park campus in 2011, it inherited the former Sun Microsystems headquarters.
Rather than replacing the existing sign, Facebook simply flipped it over and painted its own name on the front.
To this day, the back reportedly still reads: Sun Microsystems.
The story goes that Mark Zuckerberg wanted employees to see it as a reminder that no company is guaranteed a permanent seat at the top (According to some reports).
Sun Microsystems was once one of Silicon Valley's most influential technology companies. But as markets evolved, it struggled to adapt quickly enough and was eventually acquired by Oracle after filing for bankruptcy in 2009.
Whether you're a startup, a Fortune 500 company, or an individual professional, the lesson is the same:
Innovation is not a one-time achievement. It's a continuous process.
The moment we stop learning, adapting, and reinventing ourselves, someone else will.

Founders must stop trying to building 2010-era businesses with 2026-era technology.
Don't try to rebuild Foursquare or Yelp.
Don't try to recreate Basecamp by 37 Signals with $10/mo SaaS pricing.
Don't underprice! If it works it's worth a lot more.
Don't be tempted to become "Tech enabled PE" with revenue tricks.
The rules of tech changed with AI. Play the new game.
Some Crazy Wild Stats on Apple. ๐ค
๐ In 2011, Apple briefly had more cash than the U.S. Treasuryโs operating balance. ๐คฏ
๐ Apple became the first publicly traded U.S. company to hit a $1 trillion market cap in 2018.
๐ Apple often shows 9:41 on product screens because that is around the time major products are revealed during keynotes.
๐ Ronald Wayne, Appleโs third co-founder, sold his 10% stake for $800 shortly after the company was founded. Today, that stake would be worth hundreds of billions (with a B).
๐ In 2014, Appleโs net income was about $39.5B, more than Google, Facebook, and Amazon combined that year.
๐ Currently, Appleโs market cap is about $4.55T, bigger than the GDP of countries like the UK, India, France, Italy and Canada.
๐ Apple made about $416B in revenue in fiscal 2025. Bigger than the GDP of countries like Pakistan, Denmark, Finland and Portugal.
๐ Apple Park sits on 175 acres, with a 2.8M sq ft ring-shaped main building and space for over 12,000 employees. (Not this one in the photo)
And if I told you this all started in a garage by two young rebels, it almost sounds impossible. ๐ณ
But that is the beauty of big ideas. They rarely look big in the beginning.
They look small, risky, strange, and unrealistic, until the world finally catches up.
SpaceX is actively hiring world-class engineers/physicists for SpaceXAI, even if you have zero prior experience in AI. Smart humans figure it out fast.
