The white man comes to legally work in your land, you call them expatriates.
You go to legally work in their land, they call you immigrants.
Taking note.
@JudeNarcisse74@ClaudetteGGibs1 Bro we are still here without the vaccine, and people got fired at their work for refusing to vaccinate, the biggest church in SA required vax certificates from its members to be given access to the church, don't act dumb.
The Two-Pot System is fascinating when you really think about it.
Government says you can’t freely access your retirement money because it must protect you from making bad financial decisions.
Fair enough. But if you’re financially desperate and withdraw the little they DO allow you to access, SARS immediately wants tax from it. So apparently you’re not responsible enough to decide what to do with your own retirement money… but you’re responsible enough to fund the state from it. Your money is protected from you, not from the taxman. That’s the part nobody talks about.
Tweeps My grandmother’s sister has been missing since the 21st of July. Please help my family locate her and she has dementia. We can’t find her anywhere. X is my last resort now 😢
South Africans are paying ridiculous amounts for electricity in a country that literally produces electricity and exports some of it to our neighbours.
Tariffs keep climbing. Municipalities add their markups. Paying households keep absorbing increase after increase, yet electricity somehow becomes more expensive every year.
At some point we have to ask what exactly our electricity bills are funding.
Are we paying for the electricity we actually consume… or are paying customers being forced to carry the cost of municipal debt, illegal connections, electricity theft, failing infrastructure and decades of mismanagement?
Because electricity should never feel like a luxury in a country that produces it.
