Increasing 30,000 season tickets by ~£50 nets the club an additional £1.5m
The excuse used is to “support ongoing investment in the playing squad”
Achieving UCL and winning Europa will earn villa ~£85m
Harvey Elliott’s wages for the duration of his loan cost ~£3.4m
Jadon Sancho’s wages for the duration of his loan cost ~£7.2m
Abraham and Alysson signings cost £30m+ in fees alone only to barely play
Aston Villa spent £38.4m on agent fees between Feb 2025 and Feb 2026
Price hikes exist to help the commercial teams achieve arbitrary year-on-year internal target increases rather than having any material impact on “supporting ongoing investment in the playing squad”.
If it had a meaningful impact - why is our manager dealing with the same core of a squad he took over 4 years ago despite hikes every year?
You don’t NEED to increase ticket prices. You WANT to.
Stop meaninglessly punishing match-going fans and get your act together commercially. And stop lying to us about why.
Pocket pinching loyal fans WILL NOT help Aston Villa compete.

I understand that every movement in a club — especially when someone key in the strategy leaves — creates hysteria (mostly in the parallel world of social media).
Monchi leaving means just that: Monchi is leaving. End of a cycle. Bodymoor Heath is an intense world, and a new Director of Football will arrive — chosen by Unai. By the way, you can find plenty about the relationship between Roberto Olabe and Unai on #RiseoftheVillans.
Yes, you read that correctly. Unai is not leaving. Neither is Damià. You can relax.
The project continues — the rise even. Nobody said it would be easy, or a perfect upward trajectory. With ups and downs, the club keeps growing.
And now, more than ever, fans need to help. It’s easy after beating Bayern or PSG. But it’s now when your weight and your voice must project support.
I’ve tried to find the words to explain what your support and the roar before kick off means to my family & I after 445 days, but I can’t so I’ll just again say thank you 🫶🏽

#AVFC have increased the price of disabled matchday parking spaces outside the North Stand by a whopping 100%, from £190 to £380.
Disabled fans were given no prior warning when asked on the week before the first home game of the season to pay double to keep their spot.
Sort this mess out - We’re meant to be excited, we were excited, and you’ve stolen that from us with your greed. We were here before you, we’ll be here after you, do not exploit us. This is a drop in the ocean to the club, but an extortionate amount to the average fan.
