Billionaires teach us money lessons all the time if we pay attention.
Dangote is as capitalist as they come. What would cause this man to give up 1/3 of his wealth?
The answer is nothing.
That wealth stays in the family.
The family will own the foundation. His children will be the managers/trustees.
As managers, they'll be entitled to rumeneration. They can fund their lifestyle through it.
The donation itself is tax free.
Administration is not free. Some of it will goto worthy causes I trust but a lot of it will just roundtrip within the same billionaire foundations ecosystem where they pay for vehicles, travel and other personal expenses using untaxed donations.
Instead of paying a wealth tax in jurisdictions that charge it. They get to transfer what they need for day to day lifestyle expenses to a foundation that pays for them.
The rest will be locked in in trusts that own shares in companys they get dividends from. They can even borrow against their shares in these companies if the interest rate is favourable and pay interest instead of tax.
They pay as little tax as possible and keep their lifestyle.
It's all legal.
Chased the shop owners away, took over the shops……..now:
“Government, please buy us stock.” 😭😂😂
They had a plan for removing the competition, but forgot to plan for the business part of the business. 😂🇿🇦
You usually would not know exactly what you want in a wife at a younger age as a man.
And you also wouldn't have the resources to ruthlessness vet your options.
My advice is that there's no perfect time to get married.
But there's a time that provides the most optimal chance that you'll marry right. And that's when you're a little bit older.
Around 35-40.
Disturbing video showing a Mozambican immigrant destroying equipment in her salon after allegedly being asked to forcefully surrender the shop to a South African. 😳💔
The Chinese are now here.
With a showroom with cars. Right here in Nigeria.
If you’re a car dealer in Nigeria today I will sit up. The business has now changed.
“My husband stopped eat my food for 2 years I don’t know why”
“My hasn’t touched me for years I don’t know why”
“My man left me after he made it”
You women cross certain boundaries with men and wonder why he reacts in a certain way.
I got stranded one weekend and needed to make an urgent transfer, but Zenith Bank decided to misbehave. I called my girlfriend and asked if she could lend me the money, promising to send it back the moment my transaction went through.
She said, “I don’t think I can.”
I asked why, thinking maybe she had a genuine reason. She replied, “You know I don’t like taking money out of my savings.”
I asked again just to be sure I heard her correctly. She repeated the exact same thing.
I simply said, “Okay,” and ended the call. A few days later, I ended the relationship too.
It wasn’t even about the money. It was realizing I couldn’t count on the person I was planning a future with when I genuinely needed help.
