One century of Indiana Beach!
Last week, I joined Monticello Mayor Aaron Sims and Indiana Beach leaders to present a proclamation commemorating the park’s 100th anniversary.
For generations, Indiana Beach has created lifelong memories, supported local jobs and tourism, and helped make Monticello a destination for visitors from across the Midwest.
Illinois State is believed to be the first school ever to qualify for the Semifinals in a D1 postseason tournament in Football, MBB, and WBB in the same academic year. They lost an overtime heartbreaker in the FCS Final, and are headed to the NIT Semifinal and WNIT Fab Four.
@BallStateWBB We should have been an automatic qualifier for WBIT?
WNIT still seems to be full of good teams to make good games.
I wish we had played, maybe even at home
I hope this wasn’t a financial decision.
If you’re questioning what makes this year’s bubble worse than in other years, just use your eyes. Every team that is perceived to be on the bubble is losing nearly every game, whether it’s a quad 1, 2, or below game, they are all puking all over themselves. Reward the teams like Santa Clara and VCU that may not be getting fewer chances for upper echelon wins but are doing what the other teams are not doing: winning games. I know, a shocking concept that winning games on a court of play should be rewarded over playing a bunch of quad one and quad two games just by the set up of these power conferences and the way the schedule is stacked in their favor. This year above all other, winning deserves to be rewarded, even if the strength of schedule might not be super strong, reward wins.
It is amazing that due to METRIC SYSTEM used to get an at large berth we can have a team with 16 losses get a bid over teams that have had fab seasons with 25 wins but get beat in their conf. tourney & are left out. If you are in an elite league & get a few gr8 wins you might get it with 20 L’s ! That is so SAD!
This is your nightly reminder that Miami of Ohio should be a March Madness LOCK.
Any other narrative is absolutely RIDICULOUS.
THE BEST STORY IN COLLEGE BALL.
31-0 is INSANE.
LET THEM DANCE.
The teams in college basketball to finish undefeated in the regular season since 1978-79:
Alcorn State (78-79)
Indiana State (78-79)
UNLV (90-91)
Saint Joe's (03-04)
Wichita State (13-14)
Kentucky (14-15)
Gonzaga (20-21)
The 2025-26 Miami University RedHawks.
Miami of Ohio is 30-0.
Miami of Ohio should get in at 31-1.
Miami of Ohio should get in at 30-2.
This is your daily reminder that Miami of Ohio should no longer need to prove anything.
THEY HAVE DONE THAT… AND MORE.
This is the problem competitive G5 programs are facing as the CFB powers that be slowly try to push them into the abyss.
“Just schedule better teams and you’ll be able to get in off your own merit!”
What about when the better teams won’t schedule you? This was so predictable.
@DickieV@MiamiOH_BBall@MarchMadnessMBB Miami OH passes the eyeball test.
They are IN. They play team ball and can shoot the rock.
I will take them in a close 1st round game to win against a mediocre Power 5 team. Just watch...
You take one of those bubble teams and give them Miami(OH) schedule, none of them are going undefeated. I'll stand on that 10 toes down. Way harder than people realize to win all your games.
@BPickle@MiamiOH_BBall@MarchMadnessMBB The problem is simply the big guys avoid giving them a chance unless they were a CUPCAKE . It is
So tough to get games vs the elite conference schools .
Should not even be a debate about 29-0 @MiamiOH_BBall as to whether they should be part of @MarchMadnessMBB if they do not win the MAC tourney -metrics used to define who should qualify as at large teams is one sided & favors MEDIOCRITY from power conferences over EXCELLENCE by mid majors .
