@_W1II_ I think you just touched on why players dont want cap. Player enters FA and theres only a small handful of teams that can fit him into their cap structure..guy climbed the ultimate mountain after years of making less than he should and now his options are artificially suppressed.

@finkn23 Just like luxury tax at the top they should have luxury tax at the bottom..if you don’t spend x you pay y. Multiple years in a row you incur bigger penalties. No reason mlb clubs can’t spend 150m on payroll even in a rebuilding yr and make money hand over fist.

@_W1II_ Not sure how it’s worse for fans. Owners are always going to charge fans what market will bear. Regardless of how much players get. From a competitive standpoint baseball is in a good place. From fan perspective I want a min floor to ensure my team tries to try..not a cap.
