Grades 4/5 & 5 Ss @TantallonSrElem completed their persuasive writing. Monsters for sale! Very convincing and some really creative features to help “sell” their monster. So great to see the finished product! @HrceLiteracy @mspearson3

Adding transition words to persuasive writing was the focus today. Also encouraging 4/5 and 5 Ss @TantallonSrElem to add carets or * to add in missing words and details. Editing conventional errors tomorrow! @HrceLiteracy @mspearson3

Gr 2/3 @TantallonSrElem have been writing for 2 days on what they would do if they were stuck in a snow globe. Today they circled the 5Ws to make sure they also had extra detail to help the reader visualize it. Then they shared with a partner. @HrceLiteracy

Gr 5 @TantallonSrElem are also filling in the graphic organizer for selling a monster. Metre sticks used to determine monster height. They were very detailed! Persuasive writing-selling their monster coming soon. @HrceLiteracy

We just totalled the donations to both @tantallonjr and @TantallonSrElem for our Festive Friday Wear. Families had the option of sending in a donation with their child to help other families in need in our schools. Their generosity raised over $1800!! Thank you ❤!!!!!
