Going to go see a therapist tomorrow. I’ve felt very anxious and depressed over the last few weeks. I’ve also been dealing with suicidal thoughts. I hate myself so much right now.

@The_Real_Ruk I wonder similar things about groups of people in general. Board gaming, MTG, and other similar “communities” seem to have become insular and unwelcoming. I’ve found myself falling out of love with many things, of course this could just be my old age speaking.

@MNZoomies I don’t understand the love for Indie games. If a big developer were to put out an Indie style game they would be dragged through the Twitter streets. Indie games are nearly always subpar experiences with terrible visual styles, that get hyped up for reasons I don’t understand

Today has been a super terrible day. Dealing with COVID like symptoms, wondering when I’ll be able to go back to work, and trying to find a way to pay for Evee’s emergency surgery has sent my depression into overdrive. Anybody got something to cheer me up?

@zachbunn I’ve seen videos about this game and the art turns me off completely. It might sound weird to some but I like to look at nice things when I’m playing a game.
