According to constitution of Ukraine presidential election are not forbidden during war and president of Ukraine have only 5 years in power. Full stop!!!

And in constitution which is the main document there are no grounds for canceling presidential election during war, only parliamentary elections are forbidden.

So they will continue grinding until the object is achieved. Thats why the war must be stopped ASAP, the further it gets the worser conditions would get for Ukraine.
