Without telling me, my students chose to make January 19 “Make Mr. Burke talk to himself” day. I spent most of my day thinking I was conversing with children. Uh uh!! I told them I’m not celebrating next year!!

Went back to school and I was quite happy about it. I missed the kids. I missed my coworkers and the atmosphere that’s kept me a @CoolSpring_ES Penguin for a good while. Pretty sure they missed me. 😃 Here’s to 2023! @Coach_Choppy

This is the first year that @mr_jburke and I have read Front Desk by @kellyyanghk as a read aloud, and our 5th graders are loving it! They are so invested in Mia and her journey
